The professional development committee for Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Halton Peel has organized a cybersecurity seminar on October 25th to spark a conversation and educate members in small businesses about cyber threats in the digital age and the importance of cybersecurity.
Larry Keating, President and CEO of NPC, will discuss the top cyber threats to Canadian businesses, how regulators are becoming more demanding about the protection requirements of personal identifiable information (PII) and what you should be doing as a professional.
The seminar will be held at the Brampton Golf Club, and is recognized as three hours towards CPD requirements.
