Today, NPC will be presenting at Aligned Capital Partners Inc. (ACPI) Practice Management Day at the Oakville Conference Centre. Attacks have reached near epidemic proportions and are extending beyond surreptitiously encrypted endpoint computers to server lockouts, confidential information extortion and persistent worm infections for repeated ransom demands. He will also outline the current state and near-term outlook for these threats, the distribution methodology, defence strategies, as well as the ethical conundrum of paying criminals that funds more criminality.

Larry will present to ACPI advisors about the Trends in Cyber Attacks in the financial services industry to help them recognize the threat landscape and learn what they can do to secure their practice.

Larry will also be on the cybersecurity panel at the Business Integrity Workshop on October 24th along with Sean Shore (Chief Compliance Officer in the financial services industry, Compliance & Regulatory Law) and Jenna Rinaldo (Vice President at Aon), to discuss the reality of cyber attacks in the financial services industry.
